The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is the larger version of Samsung’s latest release. However, apart from size, it shares many similarities with it’s smaller sibling.
Key differences include:
- A larger 6.2-inch 1440-by-2960 display
- A larger 3500mAh battery
Reviewers found that the display still looks sharp and vibrant even though the resolution is still the same. Engadget says, “For the people in search of buying advice, here's all you need to know about the S8 and S8 Plus's screens: They're awesome.”
Battery life for the S8 is stellar. Stuff TV notes, “It managed over 12 hours of streaming video playback, and easily lasted a full day of heavy use - including wireless music streaming to a pair of Bluetooth headphones, snapping photos and far too much time spent scrolling through Facebook.”

The price might make some shoppers head towards LG's direction, but the Galaxy S8+ proves that you can have a phone with all of the features people could want, yet at the same time, retain a premium look and feel.

Samsung's latest flagship has all the hallmarks of being one of the best phones of 2017, with its excellent design and outstanding display. It might not be the absolute best phone, but as with previous years, it's likely to be the best phone for most users.
- James Rogerson, 3G.co.uk
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is one of the best phablets on the planet, combining a big screen with a big battery and loads of tech and features.
- Jason Million, G Style Magazine
Even with its software faults, Samsung has crafted a gem of a smartphone with its Galaxy S8+. Its not hard to grasp, has nice viewing angles thanks to its edge to edge display and has sufficient battery and quick charging to accompany it. Using both the S8 and S8+ I prefer this model but if you want...
