How do I do a bill cycle reset for MetroPCS?

I have.mstro pcs and would like to change bill due date do I call anytime or does phone have to be off ? Also do I request the extension then change date ? 




If your account is still active, you can change your due date for a fee of $5, plus taxes and fees. This fee must be paid immediately. Please contact Metro by T-Mobile to make this change.

It is not necessary to turn off your phone before making the call. You can inquire about the process for requesting an extension and changing the date during your conversation with the customer service representative.
