So here you have this powerful computer, more powerful than most if not all of your other computers, capable of doing the most advanced things you've ever seen, and you still can't do the most basic things with it. You can't even plug in a mouse. It drives me crazy.

There's so much power kicking around in this iPad, and if you're capable of using it in the spirit in which it was created, and harnessing that power, then you'll likely get a lot of joy out of your new tablet.  But you are spending a lot of cash to get that power, so unless your job requires you to...

The best tablet gets even better

from iNews

All in all, Apple has excelled itself in 2018’s iPad Pro. While the road to thinner, lighter and more screen-focussed devices inevitably comes at a price (RIP headphone jack), the benefits posed by the faster performance, brighter display and improved Apple Pencil / content watching experience make it the best iPad on the market.

The most powerful, not to mention most beautiful, tablet you can find anywhere

from The Independent

The new iPad Pro is a huge upgrade from previous models, and is easily Apple’s most accomplished and attractive tablet yet. Its speed and versatility are remarkable, arguably more than many will need, but for creatives especially, it’s going to become the tablet of choice.

What Hi-Fi

Probably still the best tablet/laptop hybrid

The iPad Pro certainly offers the raw power, sumptuous design and smooth operation to justly prize the premium asking price out of serious, probably creatively orientated users. But for those of us who are more content-consumers than creators, the smaller, 2017-launched iPad Pro, and even the standard iPad, already deliver the goods.

This looks to be the tablet to beat for a long time to come

from TechRadar

It's hard to find much wrong with the new iPad – it's a very tidy, well-made and powerful device. Some may baulk at the new connection port, but Apple is clearly positioning this tablet for those who actually want to do stuff, and not those who just want a fancy digital slate for the sake of it.
