Motorola appears to have done it again. For well under £300, the Moto G7 Plus is a well-featured phone with plenty of highlights, including good battery life and fast charging. Stuff

Once again, the Moto G7 Plus proves its point loud and clear that you don’t have to spend £1000 to get a great smartphone. As expected, there are some corners that have been rounded off to get to that price, but when considered at this sub-£300+ price point, it performs admirably across the board.

GSMArena

The extra cash for the Moto G7 Plus can be somewhat made up for by a few rare features in this price range. We are talking OIS, stereo loudspeakers and the super fast TurboPower 27W charging. Mainly thanks to the OIS, the daylight and nighttime performance is one of the best in the class.

An excellent phone for the price

For the average smartphone user out there, we think you're better off with the cheaper option. Only those a little more geeky will appreciate what the Plus brings to the table – namely faster charging, optical stabilisation on the camera, a slightly better processor and then more niche things like stereo speakers.

Pocket-lint

Premium design belies the price

from Pocket-lint

The Moto G7 Plus is a lovely looking device that is far beyond the expectations of its price point in terms of finish. The tear-drop notched display moves the Moto G's form factor into 2019, while the improvements to the dual rear camera, including OIS certainly sound promising.
