What's good
- Large screen
- Decent camera with advanced options
What's bad
- Not so impressive screen resolution
- Low-megapixel sensor on the camera
- Lacks FM radio
The LG Wine III is a basic clamshell phone that comes fitted with a 2 megapixel camera for taking pictures and recording video. Reviewers were impressed by the reasonably large screen, bigger buttons and according to one user, “very durable” construction.
Unfortunately, camera performance was said to be disappointing, as was the lack of zoom and low speaker volume.
The bottom line we gathered from reviews around the web is that the LG Wine III is an excellent basic phone with no apparently show-stopping reasons to dislike it. If you’re searching for a basic phone with a handful of extras and like the clamshell / flip form factor, the Wine III seems worthy of your consideration.
