In order to reach that $80 price, however, Kyocera gave the Event a crummy screen and a low-speed processor. These two components drag down the overall experience significantly. Beyond the so-so screen, the Event is not great at shooting pictures/video. For the budget smartphone shopper, the Event's low cost is likely its most appealing feature.

My first Kyocera phone lasted me a month before it started messing up. I never dropped it. It would repeatedly turn on/off. I got a replacement. This phone freezes won't let me delete my photos which takes up memory. I'll delete the picture and it reappears minutes later. No one can help me with this problem. I don't don't texts or phone calls. And of I'm on web it'll just bump me back to home sometimes. Worst phone i have ever had. Less
