The Alcatel One Touch Evolve is a modestly priced phone offering all you would expect from a basic device including a large touchscreen display, dual-cameras, and long battery life. Unfortunately the screen is apparently nowhere near brilliant, the camera is a letdown, and the processor is disappointing. Cnet's Sarah Mitroff even went as far as to say that, "There is nothing evolved about the Alcatel One Touch Evolve."
The overall sentiment of reviewers about this phone is that it simply isn't worth it, even at its low price. If you truly can't be bothered to spend any more money on a phone, then perhaps you could live with all of its apparent shortcomings. But if your budget allows for a little wiggle room, you might do well to listen to LAPTOP Magazine: "it's worth spending more for something better."
