An excellent video chat device held back by Facebook's trust problems

Video chat takes center stage

from Engadget

Though the bigger, more flexible screen does have its advantages, it’s much too big and unsightly to be practical for most people. Like the smaller Portal it uses algorithms to enhance video calls, though this feels creepy at times. As with the Portal, two voice assistants can get confusing, and app functionality is limited.
