Strong and shatterproof — and really annoying

Motorola Moto Z2 Force

from Business Insider
I give Lenovo and Motorola credit for at least trying something different. But modular accessory systems remain a bad idea, and the Z2 Force's shatterproof display is marred by its extreme susceptibility to scratching. Everything the Z2 Force does well can be found on other phones with better cameras, smarter designs, and/or longer battery life. Go with Samsung's Galaxy S8 or LG's G6 instead... Full review

Nothing less, nothing more

Motorola Moto Z2 Force

from GSMArena
The Moto Z2 Force is one of the more compelling devices of 2017. But we can't help but think it should have been priced more competitively. After all, the phone doesn't come with any earbuds but a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter is tossed in. Additionally, if you're looking at getting Moto Mods, the price will quickly rack up with every one you add to the mix. If you can get in on one of the ongoing carrier deals for the Moto Z2 Force, it'd be a much easier pill to swallow... Full review

Affordable, incredibly long-lasting battery, smooth performance

Motorola Moto E4 Plus

from Digital Trends
The Moto E4 Plus is one of the best devices at its price point, offering unparalleled battery life and performance that defies its modest hardware. While the G5 Plus is certainly worthy of consideration, the E4 Plus is more budget-friendly... Full review

The perfect marriage of performance and design, in a well-priced package

Motorola Moto E4

from Expert Reviews
For the price, Motorola’s Moto E4 is a very impressive smartphone. Its performance might be middling, and the camera has its limitations, but overall it’s an attractive and capable handset with no really serious shortcomings... Full review

An affordable Android smartphone that keeps going and going and going

Motorola Moto E4 Plus

from Phone Scoop

As long as you don't mind the larger and heavier footprint, the Moto E4 Plus delivers huge gains in battery life and camera quality. These make it a better option than the E4 in my eyes, despite the cost and size differences. Motorola didn't do anything to spice up the phone's design, but the rear panel has some new metal that I like. The large screen is nice and bright, while wireless and voice performance were above average for this class of device. The battery life — close to two days — is killer, and reason enough to buy this phone. The E4 Plus outlasts most other phone... Full review

The Never-ending Battery

Motorola Moto E4 Plus

from SlashGear

Now that the Moto E4 Plus is ready to roll in the United States, we’ve got an interesting price/value proposition on our hands. Straight from Motorola online this device is available for $179, no strings attached. As such, this device is quite easily one of the best long battery life basic-function smartphones on the market for this price. This isn’t a phone that’s going to blow your mind with chip performance. It’s not here to be a mobile news reporter’s best friend for high-quality photos and/or video. But it’ll get you your emails and it’ll... Full review

Dangerously close to the perfect budget phone

Motorola Moto E4 Plus

from Android Police

The Moto E4 gets dangerously close to being the perfect combination of budget phone give and take. Sure, it's slow, but the battery lasts forever. Yes, the display resolution isn't great, but it's a big screen, and I think most people tend to prefer that anyway. It doesn't skimp on the really important stuff - it works on all four major carriers, the camera is usable, there's a decent fingerprint scanner, you can buy one with enough storage - but it does leave a few things off my checklist for an "ideal" budget handset. Specifically, I'd really, really like to see NFC and a slightly more mo... Full review

The most affordable way to get into Moto Mods

Motorola Moto Z2 Play

from Android Guys
A solid phone for those who want to get involved with Moto Mods, and a decent value at $500. There are other, more powerful phones out there, but none that support Moto Mods... Full review

The only hope for modular phones

Motorola Moto Z2 Play

from The Telegraph
Motorola is making one of the world's most interesting smartphones, but for now it is the lone standard bearer for modular phones after the flop that was the LG G5 and the future of modular devices is far from certain. The selection of mods is exciting, but their additional price and bulk makes many of them a questionable purchase. Aside from the quirk factor, for most people they will remain expensive extras... Full review

Motorola’s refined Android phone, now slimmer in all ways

Motorola Moto Z2 Force

from TechRadar
The Moto Z2 Force is back with its guaranteed shatter-resistant glass screen and even more MotoMods, like a 360-degree camera. But this time it's much thinner and that means it's back to nearly all-day battery life. You're going to pay a price to upgrade to this Android phone, but it's the only modular phone doing it mostly right... Full review

Lost all my data, contact's n #s. Cricket store said they fixed it. Instead I got slammed and Cricket refused to help. If I wanted help I'd have to get "court order". Will never trust another Google Motorola phone.

Nothing special compared to what's available on the market with those specs. Better off buying an iphone or Samsung.

since i have gotten this phone, ive had nothing but problems.

Motorola Moto X

This phone doesn't have a block number feature, the backing pops off too easily and its hard to find a decent case for this phone. Ive had two of these phones, one being a replacement and the battery is expanding and it shuts off saying its dead even though its fully charged.

Maybe you can call be back and we will discuss about this cell phone I don't use and make an arrangement, Talk too you soon & I will bring my phone so you will see the problem but it's just then one problem and they continu to bill me before avertissement so I don't know what to do with that :\ Less

Really Good for the price!

I've been using this phone for less than a year, but so far so good! I have no complaints about anything other than the amount of storage available on this phone. I would buy again

About Motorola

Motorola proved the naysayers wrong and got this whole crazy cell phone business started back in the 1980’s when they produced “The Brick”, a large, um, ‘portable’ cell phone that was short on looks, but worked!

Shortly thereafter, business really took off when Motorola came out with the StarTac, a sexy flip that was futuristic by anyone’s standards at the time and a huge seller.

Since those early days, Motorola has continued to produce numerous and popular phones, including the extremely successful Razr, a model which ushered in the “thin” fad.

Unfortunately, Motorola has hit hard times during the past couple years with a combination of record losses, an exodus of top CEO’s and ultimately the company being put up for sale.

Motorola is based in Schaumburg, Illinois and was founded in 1928 as the Galvin Manufacturing Corporation.
