No other balance transfer card can best this, so it’s definitely worth considering if you have a large credit card balance you’re trying to pay off. There’s also a 0% introductory APR for purchases, but this only lasts for 12 months. The Citi Simplicity Card also doesn't earn any rewards—a major downside.
If you’re looking for an incredibly long 0% intro balance transfer APR period (21 months!), a nice 0% intro APR period on purchases (12 months) and reasonable ongoing APRs as well as great added benefits like no late fees or penalty rates and no annual fee, the Citi Simplicity® Card is the way...More
If you’re looking for an incredibly long 0% intro balance transfer APR period (21 months!), a nice 0% intro APR period on purchases (12 months) and reasonable ongoing APRs as well as great added benefits like no late fees or penalty rates and no annual fee, the Citi Simplicity® Card is the way to go. We highly recommend it, particularly for consolidating balances from other high-interest cards or if you want to pay no interest for a year on new purchases and close to two years on your transferred balance.
The Citi Simplicity card will appeal the most to cardholders who want to transfer a large balance and enjoy paying it off interest-free over 21 months. If you want rewards or signup bonuses, however, consider an option outside of the Citi Simplicity.

The Citi Simplicity card offers an exceptionally long introductory period for balance transfers, but unfortunately also includes a larger balance transfer fee that can make transferring a balance expensive.

Read full reviewThe Citi Simplicity® Card is worth considering if you need the full 21-month 0% APR period to pay off a large transfer balance. Otherwise, you can get more bang for your balance out of a card with a shorter 0% APR period and cash back rewards.

Few leading cards on the market can match the length of this promo APR offer. The $0 late fee and no penalty APR make this even more wallet-friendly.
