Coming out of India, Realme has released two new phones to its line-up, the Realme 9 Pro and the 9 Pro Plus. You can find the information on the 9 Pro Plus here.
The two varieties have some things in common while others differ, and it doesn’t come down to the 9 Pro Plus being better in every circumstance.
What’s the Same
- Android 12 with Realme UI
- The same amount of storage and RAM
- 16MP selfie camera
- Headphone jack
- Available in Midnight Black, Aurora Green, Sunrise Blue
What’s Different
- 6.6-inch IPS LCD
- Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G processor
- MicroSD slot available
- Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
- 64MP camera
The Realme 9 Pro’s processor clocked in faster than the 9 Pro Plus so that Plus on the end of the name doesn’t always mean better.
Small details like a slightly larger display and a MicroSD slot make the 9 Pro marginally better than the Plus.
However, the two phones show a lot of similarities at the same time with capabilities that added up to good reviews. Most of the changes are more of a small step ahead than a vast differential.
Business Insider India says, “The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G can be considered for its faster-charging speed, better processor, and more storage capacity. But if a better display and slightly better camera is a priority then the Realme 9 Pro 5G is recommended.”

However, it is never really enough for realme's mid-range phone to achieve top rates in the class, and thus it remains a solid phone that cannot inspire. The somewhat inaccur...
