Indeed, in some ways, the Mi 10 reminds us of the Redmi Note series, which has made a habit of bringing features from a much higher price point to a relatively lower price segment. The Mi 10 does something very similar, as regards the 108-megapixel camera, while also delivering everything (and more) that you would expect in a flagship. Remember what the Redmi Note 7 did for the 48-megapixel camera? The Mi 10 is out to do the same for the 108-megapixel one and has thrown in some very flagship touches into the mix as well.

The flagship is here

from The Indian Express

The Mi 10, despite its boring design and high price tag, is a decent smartphone. Its display is pretty good, the 108MP camera – if not the best – is fun to use, the long battery is another high point of the Mi 10, and 5G support is always welcome, even if networks don’t support it.

The Mi 10 is an excellent phone that brings the hardware toe to toe with the premium competition. The high-end imaging experience, good performance, and excellent battery life are as good as, if not better than, anything else in the segment. However, the software is a bit of a letdown. Despite all its polish, the prepackaged bloat and annoying notifications bring down what is otherwise an excellent device.

The Mi 10 5G is a good camera smartphone but it's certainly not the best-in-class performer. The camera setup relies on detailing and good color science which works well in most scenarios. As the primary sensor is of 24mm focal length, the Mi 10 5G makes for a good camera device for street photography, landscape photography (with primary lens) and even for capturing close-up shots, although the handset lacks a telephoto sensor. The smartphone's video recording capabilities are more impressive than the still camera performance, and the camera app offers plenty of modes and features to play around.

But there are one off things which Xiaomi seems to have missed the mark on. One of these things is the lack of a 3.5mm headphone port. That aside the smartphone really is worthy of being called a flagship by Xiaomi. It is clearly one of the best to come from the company and will definitely give some of the competition a run for their money.

The Mi 10 5G offers a great design, an excellent display, good battery life, decent camera performance, and fast wireless charging. Having said that, it does get hot quite easily, the fingerprint sensor isn't the fastest, and the camera app needs some tweaking. The lack of an IP rating might put some people off too. Overall, if you don't care about having a Mi badge on a Rs. 50,000 phone and simply want good hardware and features, then Mi 10 5G is a good option to consider.
