Moto got the mojo back. Like the Toyota Camry, it gets the basics right and then some. Importantly it is not going to die one-day out of warranty! Its strengths are fully-featured, pure Android experience, outstanding stereo speakers, solid battery life, a crisp display, and above-average camera. Compared to Moto One Vision – this has a better display, and better camera due to the post-processing strength of the Qualcomm S665 SoC.

A solid mid-range Android phone that gets nearly all the basics right

from TrustedReviews

It remains a solid mid-range smartphone despite these caveats, however. The design is rugged enough to survive a few accidental drops. The screen is still one of the best you’ll find on a smartphone this price. Battery life is also solid and, while it’s not perfect, the camera is good enough for most users.

Moto is betting big on the action camera which isn’t the biggest strength. In our opinion, the Moto G8 Plus’ clean and bugs free UI is its biggest strength. Apart from Software, the Stereo speakers with Dolby audio, a well-calibrated display, and decent performance are the few things that work in its favor. If these things matter to you the most, the Moto G8 Plus is the phone for you.

Good value for money

from The Indian Express

Based on the performance, the Moto G8 Plus justifies its asking price of Rs 13,999. The phone has a good camera, a dedicated Action Camera, good audio quality, smooth performance, and long battery backup. There is a lot of competition in the under Rs 15,000 price segment, but Moto G8 Plus surely holds its own.

AndroidPIT

Yet another solid mid-ranger

from AndroidPIT

The camera setup is interesting and there's enough battery to last you for almost two days of moderate usage. The display is not the brightest and the performance will struggle if you push the hardware but once again I find myself with a mid-range smartphone on my desk that is perfectly usable.
