There’s very little visually which distinguishes the Asus Zenfone 7 from its more expensive sibling, the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro. But under the hood, there are a few changes worth mentioning. Otherwise, here’s a list of differences for the Zenfone 7.
- Less storage (128GB)
- Smaller 6.4-inch screen
- Different cameras (20MP front-facing shooter and a dual 64MP/13MP rear camera)
- On-screen fingerprint recognition
- No 5G support
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- IPS display instead of AMOLED
Still, despite the functional differences in many of these features, reviewers stated that there was hardly enough divergences between the two phones not to go for the cheaper price point of the Zenfone 7.
However, if you want the upgraded camera or live in an area with 5G coverage, the Zenfone 7 Pro does have some benefits. You can learn more about what to expect from both phones in our Asus Zenfone 7 review.
