How to enable auto-rotate on the HTC One V?

When i turn phone horizontal position, screen does nor nor does keyboard which hinders use. how can this be corrected?

To turn on automatic screen rotation:
1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap the Settings icon.
2. Tap Display (or Display & gestures).
3. Tap on the Auto-rotate screen option.
