Modern Accessory Review

An incredible smartwatch

from Modern Accessory Review

Is it worth its price tag of $400? Well, in my opinion I would say yes. Now, if you don’t have the extra money than you can still get a series 4 Apple watch for around $300 which does a lot of the same things except for the always on display. But, if you do have the extra money then the series 5 is an incredible smart watch.

The thing is that while we’re reluctant to say it should be bought by all with an iPhone, the Apple Watch is still genuinely a lovely product, and one worth considering. Between the friendly customisable faces that can feel a little more playful than just another clock-focused smartwatch and some of the smart ways Apple is trying to focus on heart-connected health, the Apple Watch is one of those gadgets that feels like it’s trying to benefit your life.

Still the best smartwatch in town

from Pocket-lint

Still the smartwatch to beat, although the fifth-gen model is taking things a little bit easy in terms of new innovations and features - really the S5 is an S4 with always-on display and built-in compass.

A smartwatch close to perfection

from Digital Trends

The Apple Watch Series 5 is the best smartwatch you can wear right now. No other smartwatch comes close to offering the same level of fitness tracking, convenience, performance, or wearability.

The Inquirer

Cupertino remains king of the wearables market

from The Inquirer

Those who've never used an Apple Watch before will undoubtedly fall in love with the Series 5. Overall, it's an impressive bit of kit; it's capable of accurately tracking a host of workouts with ease as well as provide some great lifestyle features, intuitively, with a premium edge.

A fantastic watch for day to day life

The Apple Watch Series 5 is a great all-around smartwatch. In fact, it’s probably one of the best smartwatches. But I’m actually not convinced it’s the best smartwatch Apple’s ever made (or anyone else for that matter). In fact, I actually think the Apple Watch Series 4 might take that cr...More

The Apple Watch Series 5 is a great all-around smartwatch. In fact, it’s probably one of the best smartwatches. But I’m actually not convinced it’s the best smartwatch Apple’s ever made (or anyone else for that matter). In fact, I actually think the Apple Watch Series 4 might take that crown. While the always-on display of the Series 5 is nice, it’s come at a solid hit to battery life compared to the Series 4. While the official specs often didn’t convey it well, the Series 4 actually easily got 2 full days, sometimes even into the 3rd day.

The Series 5 Apple Watch is more than just a watch, and for the first time in its existence, it actually acts like a watch.

Compared to past Apple Watches, which delivered then-groundbreaking features like GPS and water-resistance (Series 2), cellular connectivity (Series 3) and medical-grade health features (Series 4), the Series 5 is an incremental upgrade. But Apple has set the bar for smartwatches almost impossibly high — even for itself. Rival smartwatches may have had always-on displays first, but they lag far behind the Series 5 in almost every other way.

A pair of wireless in-ears for the more discerning listener

from TrustedReviews

Overall, the RHA T20 Wireless earphones offer a pretty good package. At £200, they're expensive, putting them within range of genuine true wireless offerings, such as Sony's WF-1000XM3. They offer a good, if not quite up-to-date, feature set, but the real plus here is the audio quality.
