I really like most things about the Poco F2 Pro. It has good hardware, better than average cameras, and a great screen. Unfortunately, I think smartphone users fall under two camps: hardware people and software people. There are shades in between and I fall under the latter of needing software to be...

There’s plenty going for the Poco F2 Pro outside of the very competitive price, with the long battery life, fast charging, attractive screen, and strong overall performance making it a tempting proposition. However, the camera is inconsistent, and the software needs improvement in a few areas.

- Andy Boxall, Digital Trends
PhoneArena

It is the perfect embodiment of sensible function over form. The Poco F2 Pro doesn’t pride itself in posh design or gimmicky features. It consistently delivers in every key aspect: it’s a 5G-ready phone with excellent battery life, surprisingly good camera, and superb performance. The Poco F2 Pro is...

After its brief hiatus we're pleased to see Poco back in the driving seat of its own destiny. There's no denying that this phone delivers a whole lot for the money. But it's not pro at every turn like its name might suggest.

I really like most things about the Poco F2 Pro. It has good hardware, better than average cameras, and a great screen. Unfortunately, I think smartphone users fall under two camps: hardware people and software people. There are shades in between and I fall under the latter of needing software to be a much larger proportion of my experience pie. Despite my reservations, I think many people will find the $529 price tag to be about right.

The camera experience has its flaws, and it's far from polished. But when have the flagship killers offered flagship-grade camera performance? Overall, the Poco F2 Pro is an excellent all-rounder that's worth every extra penny on top of its predecessors. Perhaps in a different way and perhaps for a different crowd, but it remains a 'flagship killer' nonetheless.

So, as Poco has decided to co-opt the phrase “Flagship Killer,” I think that the F2 Pro manages to find itself among plenty of flagships in the market today, with great performance and a good camera experience — a sum of parts that easily overshadows the few flaws it has. But as phones like this continue to be released, we have to start asking the question of what a flagship actually is right now, halfway into 2020. If you prioritize the S20 Ultras and the P40 Pros of the world, this phone is no killer. But it does help make available the right stuff in the hands of more people.
