The Samsung Knack, also known as the U310, is a quality entry level phone designed for making calls and texting. While you won’t find fancy features here, not even a camera or Bluetooth, Samsung hits the mark when it comes to producing a device for that large demographic that “just wants a good phone!”
The external monochrome display is clear and shows the time, signal and battery strength, and inside is a 176 x 220 pixel resolution screen, an alphanumeric keypad with large, comfortable keys and even a dedicated 911 key.
On the right edge of the phone are color-coded rubber covers for the 2.5mm headphone jack and charger and a toggle button to handle volume and voice commands.
The Samsung Knack also comes with an alarm, calendar, calculator, speakerphone and stopwatch. Simple features that can be useful.
This phone offers 4.5 hours of talk time and 336 hours of standby time.
This phone is a great choice for non-tech savvy folks who just want a reliable phone with good call quality and a simple menu structure.
