If you're reading this article because your mobile phone's been stolen, we feel for you!
Sadly you're not alone.
Smartphones have become valuable targets and there's now something like 20,000 that go missing each day in the UK alone.
Yes, each day!
Depressing stories aside, if your phone went bye bye, there's one action you need to take immediately.
Call your service provider and report your phone stolen!
Because you're responsible for any calls made by the pirate who robbed you.
The last thing you need now is the extra pain of massive phone bill.
Your provider will suspend your service at no charge and if you find it again, it only takes a minute or two for them to reinstate.
Let's do this together!
Find your mobile network's contact information.
Get them on the phone.
Tell them your phone has been stolen.
Remember that typically while your service is in suspension, your contract is also suspended. This means that if you suspend for thirty days, that time will be added to the end of your contract.
If they cancel your service, and you are still under contract, they will still charge you an early termination fee, which is usually about £100.

Good luck and be safe!
P.S. If you have no luck with your recovery mission and you have a phone insurance policy, this is a good time to use it. (Most insurance companies will still charge you a deductible, which is usually about £30).
