The Nokia 2680 is a durable slider with a well-appointed mid-range feature set. The 128 x 160 pixel display provides a competent resolution and the two-tone slide-out alpha-numeric keypad has contoured keys that make the most of the limited space.
With the 2680 you can text, MMS, send/receive email, take pictures and stay organized with its built in organizer and calendar. The 2680 also has a music player, FM radio, Bluetooth and speakerphone.
Available in Slate Gray, Night Blue, Orange and Violet, the Nokia 2680 offers over three hours of talk time and two weeks of standby time.
Pros: Durable, good sound quality, familiar key placement, nice feature set.
Cons: Screen resolution could/should be higher, camera only 0.3 megapixels.
Verdict: While the Nokia 2680 is certainly a capable slider, overall there are other phones in its pricing tier that afford better displays, cameras, and added functionality. However, for folks who enjoy a basic phone that is well built, the Nokia 2680 is a good value.
