Great Phone

from eBay
For the price this is a great little phone, It's small and light. The lithium ion batteries hold a charge for a long time. I've had no problem with AT&T signal strenth. The LG CG180 is a great go phone with no contracts, just pay as you go. Internet access, text messaging. gsm.

It is a pretty good basic phone, Does what it needs to, makes calls and sends texts. ! And for the price, it makes a very nice starter phone.

Not a bad phone, poor network performance (AT&T)

I bought this phone as a backup to my Sprint Post-Paid service. I wanted to keep this phone in my truck so I had something to rely on if my Sprint phone failed for some reason. I thought AT&T would be a good choice when it came to prepaid. The phone is decent. It's a Entry-Level phone, so it's not packed with features. I have always had data problems with LG. A web site will timeout, then I have to hit cancel, then reload the page again. The Res is also pretty low (128x128). The AT&T GSM network is very slow. But this is also due to the limited RAM of the phone. Still a nice phone for the $20 I bought it for. AT&T's network is horrible though. No coverage in buildings, dropped calls are very common. So if you are buying this phone for use on another GSM network, then it is worth $20, maybe $30. But I wouldn't waste the money on this phone if you plan to use it with AT&T. If you have to use this phone with AT&T, then the CG180 would be a better choice then the basic Bar-Style phones made by Nokia that are so common and cheap to buy. Less
