Coolpad's Legacy is a great purchase for customers wanting an affordable prepaid phone. There's plenty under the hood to feel like a "premium" product, from a decent battery to facial recognition to the latest Android release.

Coolpad has a goal to become a brand for families with a smartphone that appeals to new phone users, those who want an affordable device, and older people who want a big screen and a battery that lasts for days, all at a great value. The Coolpad Legacy is clearly a winner at just $130 and I honestly...

Small price tag, big screen, impressive battery

No, you’re not going to get flagship camera performance or flagship gaming performance. But for the amount you’re saving, you probably don’t mind.

More than sufficient for daily tasks

The Coolpad Legacy is definitely one to consider if you’re a Metro subscriber. At its normal price of $130 it’s worth the money but when purchased at a discount it’s even more attractive. It checks the boxes for the features that a lot of consumers find important, including display, battery, and software.

First word that comes to mind "GARBAGE".

Do not, I'll repeat, do not buy this cell phone. It's without a doubt the worst cell phone I have ever owned. At the boost Mobile store where purchased, they sold me on the battery life and the huge touchscreen. Seemed like I couldnt loose with paying barely 100 bucks out the door. This phone drops calls, decides when does or doesn't want to ring for a incoming call. The battery life is horrible. It freezes, glitches all the time, completely decides when your phone call your in the middle of is over. It stopped keeping my call log,  so very important numbers, write em down immediately. This said, I'm actually being gentle on the Coolpad. To sum it up, STAY AWAY from this phone. And good luck.

Everyone is playing hot potato and passing the buck.  I had to break down and buy a new phone. Worse phone EVER!!!!!  I have called Walmart they said to call the company, I  called the company never to speak to a live person. This is just pathic. DO NOT BUY

Problematic

I'm on my second Coolpad Legacy and have had issues with both phones. The first one randomly stopped receiving text messages about a month after I purchased it. No one from customer service was able to help me fix it, they decided it was a defect with my phone and got me a new one under my warranty. Now I'm almost a month into having my warranty phone and when I try to send text messages they disappear completely and never send. The message just deletes from my phone. I've been able to get some messages to send but so far nothing has fixed this issue either. Love the quality of the camera and the features of the phone but text messages seem to be a flat for this model.
