Bluetooth headsets have evolved over the years from clunky over the ear devices to sleek in-ear designs. That's what makes the Storm a surprising entry in the Jabra lineup. Unlike other headsets, the Storm is a behind-the-ear headset. At first reviewers describe it as "old-fashioned," but they actually found it provided far better comfort and fit than its in-ear competitors thanks to what they describe as its sleek and curved design. Not only that but it is so light (12 grams with battery) they practically forgot they were wearing it. Jabra also designed the Storm so users can easily wear it on either ear simply by rotating the speaker and twisting the eargel. Still, some reviewers found it to be a bit loose and insecure adding that the headset came loose occasionally when adjusting the volume.

Of course, the most important aspect of a headset is its audio quality. With the storm, critics were quite happy with its performance. The Noise Blackout technology combined with the dual microphones produced HD quality sound on both ends of their calls. Users can also equip a bundled windsock to block out additional noise. T Break states, "…[it] works like a charm where Wind Noise Blackout struggles to filter-out noise in extreme windy conditions." Perhaps the biggest problem experts ran into was poor range. They experience signal issues when entering a different room that was only 10 meters away. Not only that but they also found voice quality decreased slightly when walking with the phone in their pocket.

The biggest selling point of the Storm is its battery life. Thanks to the micro Power battery technology, experts were able to get 10 hours of continuous talk time and 10 days of standby. They add that light users can expect to go days without every charging the device. It took them around 2 hours to full charge the device once the battery was completely drained. Besides the long battery life, it also comes equipped with NFC.

While there are a few faults with the Jabra Storm, overall reviewers were impressed with the lightweight design and audio quality. Gogi states, "The Jabra Storm offers the best hands-free experience." Pocket Insider adds, "The Jabra Storm is a great Bluetooth headset with a lot to offer."
