Convergence is a big deal in the world of consumer electronics, and for that reason the Jabra Supreme UC shines as one of the finest examples of a Bluetooth headset ever made. In his review of the accessory, Chris Burns from Slashgear points out that it easily "replaces your in-office headset as well as your mobile headset in one swoop." And it's capable of offering excellent sound quality, to boot.
The top-level sound quality only seems to apply to phone calls, though. As MegaTechNews reviewer Dylan Duarte explains, "the audio quality just isn’t good enough for music." But since most people don't tend to rely on Bluetooth headsets for music listening, this doesn't really count as a major flaw for the Supreme UC.
A lot of expert reviews found online point out one thing rather consistently: that whatever the Supreme UC does, it does really well. Both Techradar and C|net are in agreement when calling this Bluetooth headset "impressive," "versatile," and "tough to beat."
When it comes to drawbacks, purchasing the Jabra Supreme UC presents at least two. One, it seems rather bulky and this greatly affects wearability. According to Aoife M. McEvoy from PC Advisor, an entirely stable fit couldn't be achieved while wearing it, owing to the included non-adjustable ear hooks. Another issue is with the price since it goes for well north of $100.
But if you can reconcile this with the fact that it essentially functions as two devices rolled into one, this headset looks to be a winner.
