A fitness-focused smartwatch

from NDTV

The Fitbit Versa 2 looks nice, feels great to wear, and has a strong companion app. These are all good features to have, but the lack of in-built GPS limits its utility a lot. For a premium fitness device, this is a glaring omission.

Maybe you’re a first-time fitness watch buyer, or maybe you’re considering an upgrade from an existing Fitbit. Either way, the Versa 2 is a compelling device. With prices starting from Rs 20,999, it is also not very heavy on your pockets either. At this price what you get is a really well built smartwatch you can wear all day, and which accurately tracks fitness activities. Third-party app support, Alexa integration, and long battery life are further plusses. The lack of built-in GPS support is a downer for those who are into running or other outdoor activities.

The 'Apple Watch' for Android users

from Gadgets Now

At a price of Rs 20,999, the Fitbit Versa 2 helps monitor fitness levels, workouts and pays extra attention to sleep quality. If you are using an Android phone, then the Fitbit Versa 2 definitely makes sense as it offers everything that you need-- connectivity, fitness tracking and even sleep tracking.

It's a worthy upgrade but the lack of GPS holds it back

from Expert Reviews

For me, the Fitbit Versa is frustratingly close to being amazing but I couldn’t make it my main watch without a GPS chip. As it stands, it may still be perfect for you. If your phone’s GPS is up to the task, then this is a wonderfully sporty smartwatch. It looks great, it lasts for days and it benefits from the superb Fitbit app.

The subscription smartwatch

from Digital Trends

The Fitbit Versa 2’s biggest strength is its three-day wearability on a single charge, but that’s not much different from last year’s Versa. Fitness insights and app support are limited — especially with music — and Alexa doesn’t add much value.

The Fitbit Versa 2 is everything that you could ask for in a smartwatch. It is simple yet stylish. It is comfortable to wear for long hours and comes with a long battery life. It is loaded with apps and features that offer users best of what smart watches and fitness wearables have to offer.

Plenty to like, plus a little ambivalence

from iMore

With the Versa 2, Fitbit improved a number of things about its smartwatch platform, but isn't able to overcome a fundamental inability to compete with Apple's watchOS ecosystem, especially on the eve of the Apple Watch's own sleep tracking additions.
