Comfortable and usable, with good audio quality

from ZDNet

The Optoma NuForce BE Free8 true wireless earbuds tick a lot of boxes. They're comfortable to wear, easy to use and offer plenty of battery life (if you keep the charge case topped up), with no noticeable audio lag between the buds, and good sound quality.

After some initial connectivity foibles, we've come to be relatively impressed with the Optoma Be Free8. They offer a good sound and keep a consistently good wireless connection during playback - so long as you leave them firmly wedged in your ears.

The Optoma NuForce BE Free8 Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds were a bit of a mixed bag for me. Their sound was good, and they held a charge for a very serviceable amount of time, even longer using their battery charging case. They fit fairly well in my ears, provided that I was able to get them positioned just right, but I did have to re-adjust them occasionally.

They are light and comfortable to wear, and finding the right seal is a matter of experimenting with the different gels. Audio quality benefits from finding the best fit, even if the neutral soundstage here isn’t going to blow everyone away.

The Wirecutter

Not a bad choice

from The Wirecutter

The BE Free8 sounded just okay; the highs were a little harsh and tizzy, and the lows lacked definition. If the BE Free8 fits you well, this pair isn’t a bad choice.

Optoma has released some great wireless audio products lately and this latest NuForce offering is no exception. Audio quality is akin to what you’ll get from other Bluetooth headphones in this price range, but the untethered design is top-notch, making the BE Free8 an excellent option.
