Are the Everest Elite headphones near the top of my list of headphones I recommend? A week ago, they wouldn't have been, but thanks to a software update and a recent price drop, they are now a far more attractive proposition. The excellent carry case, comfy fit, and very respectable noise cancellation make them a great travel companion. That is if you can overlook some lousy buttons and build quality that is a smidge underwhelming.

As much—or as little—noise cancellation as you want

from TechHive

JBL’s Everest Elite 750NC is a top-notch ANC headphone for road warriors. JBL’s active and adaptive noise-cancelling technologies are excellent. While it doesn’t feature some of today’s best Bluetooth streaming codecs, its overall sound will easily satisfy most consumers.

A pair of musical cans that give you long lasting battery life, comfortability and noise cancelling

Using them for the past month JBL’s Everest Elite 750s have been a decent improvement over the older model. Sound quality is still there as well as comfort. Battery life has proved good and I can’t recall charging them much. I will say one nuisance I have come across is the 750s just desyncing from my smartphone rather its iPhone or Galaxy S8 and me having to disconnect and reconnect to reestablish my music listening. It happens once in a blue its pretty annoying.

A solid contender

JBL’s Everest Elite 750nc headphones are solid. I can’t compare them directly to something like Bose’s QC35s, as I haven’t managed to pick up a pair yet. On their own, though, the 750s are a good pair of headphones that offer a nice mix of comfort, features, and quality. A...More

And while $299 is hardly a budget price, that tag puts it below some of the 750s’ direct competition.

iLounge

A decent competitor to the ubiquitous Beats headphones

from iLounge

Overall the 750NC sounds far better than the 700. In short, if futuristic looks and powerful low-end are what you’re looking for, then the 750NC is easy to recommend.

The JBL Everest line does represent some of the best personal audio products on offer from JBL and the JBL Everest Elite 750NC is the best of that line. So for those looking to JBL for a premium set of headphones, these are the ones to go for. They are extremely comfortable, seem durable, and the sound quality is very good.

Delivers big sound with solid noise canceling

JBL’s Everest Elite 750NC’s are great sounding headphones with solid noise canceling capabilities. Despite lacking the fidelity of higher priced headsets, they’re still a joy to listen to.

Big bass-heavy sounds but weak on mid- and high-range notes

from Gizmodo

If you like big bass and adjustable noise cancelling, the JBL Everest Elite 750NC is a great choice. They're really nice headphones no matter how you measure them. Yes, the bass is (somewhat surprisingly) more extreme than most. The noise cancelling is better than most headphones on the market, and the flexibility is nice.

Solid audio performance, but the noise cancellation itself isn't very good

from PC Magazine

We don't hate the JBL Everest Elite 750NC, but the performance is just too inconsistent. If you crave the power these headphones can conjure and the versatility the adjustable EQ delivers, we won't judge. But JBL's noise cancellation is still not its greatest strength, and there are better options available.
