The cube shape of this device is really attractive with tiny body that you can carry anywhere with ease. It is time to order your Hero5 session device online and soon you will be able to record your all adventurous trips with awesome capture quality. The waterproof and damage proof construction is itself an edge over all competing devices.

A powerful miniature masterpiece, but it's fiddly to use

from TechRadar

Video quality is second to none, 10MP still imagery will be good enough for most, and the tiny package makes it the perfect companion on your travels. The lack of a replaceable battery is a downer, as is the slightly confusing one-button interface, but the beautifully crisp 4K footage easily makes up for this.

The GoPro Hero 5 Session may look the same as its predecessor, but it now boasts 4k image quality, voice control, video stabilisation and a USB-C connection, as well as updated and increased frame rates and resolutions. We’ve managed to ride with it in some fairly varied terrain and climatic conditions, and reckon we’ve got a good handle on how it performs.

The Hero5 Session is a great little action camera. We’re especially glad to see that GoPro has worked out the kinks in its product lineup, in which the new Session has a clearly defined position. It offers significantly more features than the original Hero4 Session, all while coming in at $100 less than the original’s price. We still feel the Hero5 Black is the camera to get and is more than worth the extra $100, but if you’re after the smallest possible GoPro, then the Hero5 Session will fit the bill.

The best action camera for the size

The HERO5 Session is crazy hard to beat. The software on it is super easy to use, pairing it with a mobile app is simple and the footage looks great. We use this mostly for tighter locations or as a secondary camera. Also, if we’re filming but want to be more discrete we opt for the HERO5 Session.

The Hero Session was the first GoPro camera to do away with the need for a waterproof housing -- one of the things I've always disliked about them. The camera's tiny square design makes positioning much easier and allows you to put it in places the others won't fit. And the simple one-button control lets you start shooting almost instantly. The only thing really missing was excellent video quality, which is fixed with Hero5 Session. If you need all the features GoPro offers, you'll still want the Black, but for a tiny camera to toss in a bag and go, this is pretty perfect.

One of the best action cameras in the market right now, if you can stomach the price

from NDTV

There’s a lot to gain in upgrading from the Hero4 Session to the new model, and for professional users, it might be worth the investment. The Hero5 Session offers excellent video quality in good lighting, and plenty of shooting modes to play around with for both video and stills.

You can use the HERO5 Session on its own, but to get the most from it, you may want to consider purchasing an accessory which best matches the kind of footage you’re going to be recording with it. But there’s far less flexibility with this camera than you get with the HERO5 Black - especially if you’re a photographer, with the more expensive camera you can shoot in raw format for example.

Packs great video quality into an adorable form factor

from TrustedReviews

Now that the Session has taken up a new position as the entry-level alternative to the Black, and the Silver has been done away with completely, it becomes a much more viable option. With its performance upgrade, matching the Black’s top-level resolution, it’s a far more capable action camera than its predecessor.
