The RHA S500i are super tough and the included accessories are nice for $50, but don't expect them to live up to the standard set by other RHA products.

Ultimately users will be paying for two things with the S500; excellent build quality and a brand name.

Meant for listeners who prefer a more neutral sound

from NDTV
RHA may typically be a manufacturer of premium earphones, but the S500i shows that the company can bring its superior design and proprietary driver technology to more affordable segments as well. At Rs. 3,999, the RHA S500i is an excellent option and delivers a clean, neutral sound that you're unlikely to find elsewhere at this price... Full review

Affordable headphones with premium design and great sound quality

The RHA S500i are tuned in a more “mainstream” fashion than the other products we’ve reviewed from this company. If you’re looking for the level of fidelity present in the T10, you’re probably going to have to pay more, but if you’re just looking to blast your tunes as you make your way through your day, these will get the job done... Sound as good as they look and feel

from Gadgetmac

The RHA S500i offer a lot of value for money. And considering just how small they are, they deliver an impressive audio performance without any significant compromises. Should you buy RHA’s S500i? If you’ve got $50 in your pocket waiting to be spent on a fresh set of quality in-ear headphones, you should definitely pick up a pair. And if you can live without a remote and microphone features, RHA's S500 is an even cheaper, stripped-down alternative to the S500i. You’ll be hard pressed to find something that will offer what the S500i have put down for you to pick up. You&rsq... Full review

A worthy upgrade over bundled earbuds

from PC Advisor
The RHA S500i earphones provide excellent value for money, and they're affordable to most people. With its mid-centric sound and minimalist design we were impressed by the overall package. This small set of earphones easily make their way on our recommended budget headphone list... Full review
Business Insider

Clear sound, good looks, and bountiful extras

from Business Insider
The most important thing is that the S500s also sound great. They have a very bright profile that greatly emphasizes the highs and high-mids, with tight, solidly powerful lows laying underneath that. For the money, they wring out a great level of detail; they’re consistently crisp, and they feature a relatively wide soundstage. Their sharp, edgy signature makes things like lead guitars and (most) women’s vocals shine in particular, though the bouncy bass lets hip-hop hold its own as well... Full review

Sound Guys

Super tough and the included accessories are nice

from Sound Guys
The RHA S500i is certainly a decent pair of earbuds, and the included accessories are certainly more than we expect in this price range, but we didn’t come away nearly as impressed as we were expecting. The construction is sturdy, but super-small enclosures might not be enough to pack enough of an audio wallop. These sound good enough, but there’s nothing especially impressive about the sound...
