It's a frustrating design decision that's symptomatic of the Pebblebee Honey as a whole — a lot of good features undermined by a handful of poorly implemented ones.

- Philip Michaels , Tom's Guide

The size of the Pebblebee is large enough to be seen and make your keys recognizable, while still being durable.

A lot of good features undermined by a handful of poorly implemented ones

from Tom's Guide
You can replace the battery on the Honey yourself, though Pebblebee's website offers conflicting information on when you'll have to do that. (The product page says the device gets years of battery life; the FAQ says just one year. I'm inclined to believe the FAQ.) To unlock the battery cover, you'll use a little plastic wedge that ships with the Honey, and it is frighteningly easy to lose. An item tracker that even your dog would love

from Gear Diary
Overall, I actually did enjoy the Pebblebee. This is the second personal item tracker that I’ve used, and it’s the first that actually held up sitting on my keyring. I look forward to doing a comparison between it and the TrackR Bravo soon, and maybe even the Tile if given an opportunity. But as it stands, the PebbleBee is the easiest to use, and the more visibly appealing out of it and the Bravo long-term... Full review

from Make Use Of

The overall implementation of the Pebblebee is somewhat lacking: it kind of works, but not all the time, and isn’t so much a location tracker as a short range beacon. The range of the Bluetooth signal just isn’t very good, the connection takes time to establish, and sometimes it just doesn’t connect at all. I suspect this is the fault of Bluetooth rather than their software – it’s just not what the technology was designed to do.

And yet: it has proved useful to me. The Pebblebee has saved me time when searching for my keys, and for that I’m gratef... Full review

Craving Tech

Affordable and smart tracking device for anything you can think of

from Craving Tech

Pebblebee is an affordable and smart tracking device for anything you can think of: your keys, your bags, your wallet, and even your pet. The days of losing items are almost over. Well, you are definitely still going to lose them, but at least you now have a way to find out where they are with ease.

Once set up, Pebblebee is fairly simple to use. It can also be used to find where your phone is (by triggering your phone to sound an alarm) – which is kind of cool. Pebblebee is a bit flaky at times, but I’m quite certain that these can be addressed in the future through... Full review
