TechHive

Great sound and super-long battery life

from TechHive

If you can get past the bulk and you’re not interested in active noise cancelation, the Urbanite XL Wireless headphones are definitely worth a look. They’re the best-sounding headphones in their price range.

Tech Advisor

Over decent performance and handy features

from Tech Advisor

If you can afford the price, the Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless headphones provide decent sound over Bluetooth offering punchy bass without going over the top. There are handy features such as NFC, a touchpad for control and a microphone for calls, but build is a little on the plastic side and these headphones are pretty bulky.

What Hi-Fi

Look like big, uncompromising brutes, but sound relaxed and unfussy

The Sennheiser Urbanite XLs are nicely built, and they are certainly talented enough to warrant a place on your shortlist.  A good option.

Given its audiophile legacy, Sennheiser has usually leaned more toward substance over style, though the company tries to fuse those together in the Urbanite XL Wireless. These are every bit the dance party earful any user — not just the young and hip — would be looking for, especially since they don’t discriminate against music genres that don’t rumble the floor.

Sound Guys

Fun hyped sound without completely sacrificing accuracy

from Sound Guys

There’s a lot to like about these headphones. If you’re looking for accuracy, stick with Sennheiser’s Momentums, but if you’re looking something more fun sounding, give these a look.

As we observed with the wired Urbanite XL, the sound signature of the Urbanite XL Wireless is dynamic and powerful, but reserved for a headphone pair marketed as a massive bass experience.

At $300, the Urbanite XL Wireless may be marketed with bass lovers in mind, but it's a much more balanced, crisp pair than one might initially assume. It's also quite expensive compared with the Jabra, and the control panel on the right ear is annoying. The Urbanite XL Wireless delivers solid audio performance, but would have a higher rating with more graceful controls or a lower price.
