Noise-cancelling champions

The Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones are mighty impressive over-ear headphones. As noise-cancelling headphones go they're right up there among the best, delivering great sound quality from their comfy, lightweight build... Full review

Great noise-cancelling headphones

from TrustedReviews

If you want the very best sound you can get for £270, then the Bose QuietComfort 25 probably aren't for you. While they sound good, the appeal of these headphones is absolutely tied to their excellent active noise cancellation.

They take a lot of the stress out of busy, noisy environments and stop you from having to turn up your music to compete. While some models may be slightly better at delivering music in quiet rooms, there are few better that the QuietComfort 25 for doing so in loud ones.

The one stumbling block is the AKG N60, a pair of active noise-cancell... Full review

Boast fantastic noise-cancelling and high quality audio

from Gizmag

Should you buy them? At US$300, the decision to shell out for some QuietComfort 25's is probably not one you're going to take lightly. It all depends on what you value in your audio gear. If you're regularly enduring commutes on crowded vehicles and looking for some respite, you'll be hard pressed to find a better way to check out from reality than sliding these headphones on and firing up your favorite tracks.

Furthermore, these things are really solidly built. If you invest in these headphones and take a bit of care with them, you're going to be enjoying them for years. Bo... Full review

What Hi-Fi

Best noise-cancelling headphone

from What Hi-Fi
Noise cancellation is a good place to start and we’re pleased to say it works really well. Astonishingly well, actually. The old QC15s were already great in this department, at times giving the impression of actively pushing silence into your head, yet the QC25s take it further.Office hubbub is dramatically reduced. The hum of air conditioning is eradicated. Voices aren’t erased entirely, but we’ll challenge anyone to pick out any part of a conversation while music is playing at an enjoyable level... Full review

Very good headset even without the novice cancellation turned on

from The Indian Express
This, or any other noise canceling phone, is a must have for frequent fliers, or those who work in noisy environments. The QC25 is one of the best options available in this space and is a very good headset even without the novice cancellation turned on. But let there be no doubt that there is a price to be paid for this premium quality silence... Full review

A deluxe set of headphones that delivers an unparalleled audio experience

from TechRadar
The Bose QuietComfort 25 bring out nothing but the best in my media. They are a unique piece of technology in that they not only deliver a mind-blowing first impression, but offer it during each and every use, again and again. If you're serious about sound and want to hear your favorite movies, music and games in a new immersive way, or if you just want the best set of noise-cancelling headphones you can get for $300, the QC25 is for you... Bose pads its lead in noise-cancelling headphones

from TechCrunch

Bose didn’t really need to update the QC 15; it was still topping charts everywhere as the single-best pair of noise-cancelling headphones in the business. The QC 25’s launch probably had more to do with updating the line for a younger, Beats-hungry audience (there’s a custom order tool that lets you come up with crazy color configurations) but everyone benefits as a result, as Bose has fixed all the weaknesses of the previous model, and made genuinely useful improvements even to the QC line’s biggest strengths with the QC 25, which remains the best deal in noise can... Sound Guys

Industry leading noise reduction

from Sound Guys

Even though some of the tweaks seem more like lateral movement than actual improvements on previous models, the Bose QuietComfort 25 are indeed the best active noise canceling headphones we’ve seen from Bose yet. Simply put, if you’re looking for an over-ear model from Bose, these are probably your best bet.

If you’re looking for headphones with ANC but aren’t happy with the price tag, there are cheaper options out there. That said, while Bose products often seem (and sometimes are) overpriced, this may not be one of those situations. They’re not che... Full review

Excellent noise cancellation and a sculpted, powerful audio performance

from PC Magazine
At $300, the Bose QuietComfort 25 is still a noise-canceling headphone pair first and a music lover's headphone pair second. But Bose introduces new improvements (like passive listening mode) with every model that keep QuietComfort on top of the noise cancellation market, and the over-ear Quiet Comfort 25 easily earns our Editors' Choice... The best noise-canceling headphones get better

from Cnet

I have yet to come across noise-canceling headphones that do the noise-canceling component as well as a Bose model. Its options were also hard to beat for comfort. Sound quality was good but not great.

Now Bose has upped the audio performance in the QuietComfort 25. While it still may not be stellar, you'll be hard-pressed to find superior sound in another noise-canceling model. Yes, it's fairly pricey, but for those seeking premium noise-canceling headphones for travel or just shutting out everyday ambient noise while listening to music or watching video, these QuietComfort head...
