Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update now available from Sprint

Sprint has just become the first carrier in the US to provide users of the Samsung Galaxy S III with the highly-anticipated update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google's Android software. As you may already know, the latest version of Android improves the the user interface experience greatly, introducing many new features such as Android Beam and Google Now while making the whole operating system much faster in general. The over-the-air software upgrade is available for download now.

What Else You Need To Know

  • Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean is currently the latest version of the Android software but an newer version of the software is expected to be announced in just a few days with the next-generation Google Nexus smartphone.
