Of course, we doubt that a simple white box will be the XPERIA X3’s final commercial packaging when it hits the market, but this does prove that Sony Ericsson’s first Android is indeed real and looks to be in good condition for its eventual release. Aside from being their premier Android device, the Sony Ericcson XPERIA X3 also features a 1GHz Snapdrgon processor, 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 10Mbps HSDPA/2Mbps HSUPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 3.5mm AV connector, and a decently-sized 4-inch WVGA touchscreen. It's pretty impressive across the board. We're just hoping that its price won't be a big letdown.
Rumor has it that the XPERIA X3 could be released as early as January 2010. There’s a lot of skepticism about its early release next year though as this could also be the month when the XPERIA X2 will hit the scene. Be that as it may, if these pictures are any indication of its current status, I’d say this XPERIA Android phone looks mighty fine and ready for a January release.
