Nokia’s first 8-megapixel camera phone, the N86, is now available in the US. It’s still listed as pre-order status on the Nokia USA website, but according to The Nokia Blog, both Amazon and Nokia flagship stores in Chicago and New York already have it in stock.

The Nokia N86 is currently retailing for $499 (excluding tax) at the Nokia flagship stores. Minus any carrier subsidy, it’s understandably pricey, but still not as expensive as the $649 N900. If you’re willing to dish out roughly $500 for a mobile phone, then you’ll land yourself a WiFi capable dual-slider that also comes with a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display, 8-megapixel camera complete with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectivity, and 8GB internal memory.

Amazon's Nokia N86

Amazon, meanwhile, is offering it at a much cheaper price, $468.99 to be exact. Add that to the convenience of ordering it without having to leave your house, Amazon is your best hassle-free option in bagging this new phone. Find out more about their Nokia N86 offer by heading on over here.
