Here’s good news for loyal Rogers subscribers out there waiting for a new BlackBerry device to be announced on their beloved carrier. Ever reliable BGR has managed to get these snapshots of the BlackBerry 8520 Gemini phone complete with a Rogers splash screen.

There’s no Rogers branding on the phone itself which suggests that this is probably a fresh unit out of the factory and hasn’t been prepped up yet for the Canadian carrier. However, with the clear Rogers splash screen on it, there’s no question that this BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is nearing its eventual release in Canada.

As a quick recap, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes with a 2.64-inch 320×240 display, 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, stereo, Bluetooth, a “highly tactile full-QWERTY keypad”, optical trackpad, and out-of-the-box Mac compatibility. While pricing in Canada is still yet to be known, its current on-contract retail price on T-Mobile of $129.99 (after an instant-rebate is applied) should give you guys an idea of how much it should cost once Rogers releases it in the country.
