Contrary to prior reports, it appears that the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is already available in the UK via Vodafone, and online retailer mobiles.co.uk, for their part, has come out with this unboxing video of the 5530 as a treat for all of us.
We don’t exactly get a very good up close and personal look at the 5530 XpressMusic due to the limitations (fixed focus) of the camera used (Nokia phone) in shooting this video, but we do get a pretty comprehensive run through on what’s included in the package. The standard documentation, CD, charger, and USB cable are all there, but what is interesting to note, though, is the inclusion of in-ear earphones and a 4GB memory card as well. We also get to see how it performs in a brief walkthrough of its menu and features, and I must say, as sad as we were to hear that 3G wasn’t included, it doesn’t appear to be that bad at all.
Likewise, considering its more affordable price, we’re certainly more than willing to let some amenities go, and 3G seems to be the most reasonable one since WiFi has been retained in the 5530. Now, if we only knew when it will be made available for the rest of the world to enjoy, then we can truly get excited over Nokia’s latest touchscreen phone.
