If this phone looks familiar, that’s because it’s the same mobile phone featured in the leaked 2009 Motorola line-up for Verizon. Previously referred to as the Rush 2, it’s now called the Motorola Rival A455 and is also now available on Telus as well.

telus motorola rival a455

The Moto Rival comes with a 2.2-inch display with touch dial-pad, 2-megapixel camera with video capture capabilities, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keypad, 3.5mm headphone jack, and quick access to IM and email applications. It may not be a smartphone nor does it feature WiFi connectivity, but this will surely be a welcome treat for those who love to message their friends either by SMS or via the internet. The Moto Rival is available in Tin Silver and Purple colored variants, and is retailing for $99.99 on a 3-year contract, $199.99 for 2-years, $249.99 on a single year, and $299.99 outright purchase.
