If you’re waiting on the BlackBerry Tour 9630 (formerly known as the Niagara) to hit Canada, here’s something you might be interested in.
A promotional material for this upcoming BlackBerry phone has just surfaced confirming earlier rumors that it will be part of Bell's 2009 line-up. Apart from the carrier mention, it also includes some details as to its spec which we’ve already reported about in the past. As a quick recap, the BlackBerry Tour comes with a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and image stabilization, GPS, and world phone functionality. Another Canadian carrier, Telus, is also in the running to offer up this new BlackBerry device in the country, but we have to receive any updates or leaks on their side of the fence.
No price or release date was provided, but given that their campaign material looks primed and ready for public dissemination, it probably won’t be long now before we see this baby go on retail.
