Verizon has just officially announced the Samsung Trance, their latest music-centric mobile phone offering.
It’s a slider that features a 2.1-inch TFT 176x220 262K color display, 1.3-megapixel camera, touch-sensitive navigation pad, stereo Bluetooth, Bang & Olufsen ICEpower, 3.5mm headphone jack and 1GB internal memory expandable via microSDHC card (up to 16GB). With a relatively low megapixel rating camera and lack of WiFi and 3G connectivity, its music capabilities will be its main selling point.
The Samsung Trance will be available for retail starting tomorrow in Electric Red and Piano Black colored options. What's even better is that it'll only cost $49.99 on a 2-yr contract after a $50 mail-in rebate. Not bad for a music phone, don’t you think so?
