Samsung has just unveiled their brand new S3500 slider phone. Design-wise, it’s a splitting image of the Soul U900 minus the touch-controlled navigation pad, but feature-wise, it’s definitely a far cry from its look alike and nowhere near its newly announced sibling, the S8300 Ultra Touch.

It features a 2.2-inch 240x320 pixel display, 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and EDR support, 35MB internal memory with microSD card support. No WiFi and high-speed HSDPA data connectivity on this slider, but it sure looks like a pretty sexy entry level phone.

It’s now available in Russia for 7500 rubles or $210 in US denomination, and should be available in other European market as well as Asian countries sometime soon. We’re not quite sure if this will be released in the North American region, but we surely wouldn’t miss it that much especially if the S8300 Ultra Touch is made available already.
