Based on our source, Rogers is set to roll out new smartphone plans that give you more mileage for your Canadian dollar. A definite release date wasn’t given, but the details as to what they will contain are as follows:

rogers wireless logo

$45 Smartphone Plan
- 250 daytime minutes
- Evenings and weekends at 9pm
- Rogers to Rogers
- 500MB data

$50 Smartphone Plan
- 400 daytime minutes
- Evenings and weekends at 9pm
- Rogers to Rogers
- 500MB data

$75 Smartphone Plan
- 650 daytime minutes
- Evenings and weekends at 9pm
- Rogers to Rogers
- 500MB data

Likewise, each new plan entitles subscribers to choose one of the following add-on services: Free incoming calls, 5pm start to evening and weekend minutes, my5 Canada-Wide or Unlimited Network Calling.

Sure, it seems to give you a more decent offer when it comes to voice calls, but the 500MB data cap is the silver lining in the whole deal. Considering that it’s a smartphone plan, 500MB isn’t a lot to work with. Anyway, since this hasn’t been announced yet by Rogers, maybe there will be some changes when it becomes official, and hopefully, that will be in the adjustment of the data limit on all of the plans.
