Samsung has almost become synonymous with touchscreen-enabled mobile phones, but their latest offering provides a little change of pace from the usual crop of devices we’ve come to expect in the market today.

The Samsung W690 is a clamshell that comes with a 2.6-inch internal AMOLED display, 1.5-inch external AMOLD display, 2-megapixel camera, HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS and an 800 mAh battery. It’s got a pretty decent feature set, not outstanding, but the internal and external AMOLED displays will surely be one of its more eye-catching features. It'll come in two variants: black and white.

The Samsung W690 will be released in South Korea courtesy of SK Telecom, but we have yet to get confirmation if it will be made available to outside markets.
