Telus is now offering the ZTE TXTster mobile phone as part of their line-up. It comes with a 220x176 TFT 262K internal display, 96x64 CSTN 65K external display, EVDO 1.9GHz/800 MHz, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, and IM applications such as Windows Live and Yahoo Messenger. It also features a Fastap keypad with eZiType word prediction which will surely help make mobile messaging faster and easier. This new handset is retailing for $229.99 contract-free and $29.99, $79.99 and $179.99 on a 3-yr, 2-yr and single year contract respectively.

The ZTE TXTster may not be as powerful and feature-rich as the other devices that have been hogging the spotlight these past couple of days, but it looks like a pretty decent model with modest features that's well suited for the average mobile phone user.
