It looks like Apple is finally implementing the pre-activation service we reported a few days ago.

What was rumored to be the return of at-home activation was simply a new procedure that will lessen the time it takes you to get an activated iPhone from a local store. Yeah, we were hoping that it was actually the former as opposed to the latter especially since it’s only limited to AT&T customers, but hey, if it’s any consolation, at least you won’t be standing in line that long anymore waiting to get your hands on an activated iPhone. I wonder if this new procedure will also roll out in other regions as well.
