Everybody’s crazy about 3G/HSDPA phones with huge touchscreen displays or those equipped with a QWERTY keypad, but what about those folks who just want a simple phone that’s capable of playing some music on the side? Well, Samsung has got your back with two recently launched music phones; the Beat s and the Beat b.

What’s the difference between the two? The Beat s aka M3200 is a slider while the Beat b aka M3510 is a candybar, but more or less, they carry the same features. They both come with a 2-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, an FM radio, quadband GSM, stereo Bluetooth, and microSD card support. However, one unique feature you can find in the Beat s is that it comes with a Bang&Olufsen ICEpower audio chip which means it might be a little more expensive than its candybar twin.

If you don't mind a lack of 3G capability and just want a simple phone with extra multimedia functionality, then these two might just be the ones you've been waiting for.
