While this may look like two separate gadgets, the Mio Leap K1 is actually just one device with two different displays. Yup, that’s right. You have the traditional mobile phone interface on one side, and a full GPS display on the flipside. It’s a variation of what Samsung did with their F-series, but instead of providing entertainment features, Mio decided to take the more productive route by incorporating a GPS module.
From what we heard, it’s a quad-band phone with a 2-megapixel camera running on Windows Mobile 6.1. We’d like to know more especially if it will hit stateside, but unfortunately, this is all we could gather at the moment. For more live pics, you can find them here.
Based on what we can see, it looks decent enough to grab the attention of some on-lookers, but we’re more interested to find out how the Windows Mobile OS will be implemented on two interfaces on a single device. Don't worry, we'll give you an update once some hands-on reviews start popping up.
