Mobile banking is definitely a growth industry. Some may see it as growing too slow but it's not the rapidity but the stability that banking appreciates more. Bank of America has posted its millionth mobile banking customer. These are active clients that regularly check their balances, pay their bills and transfer money through their mobile, after a little over a year since the service launched.
The service is nationwide, though many clients are still tentative about doing more critical banking like transferring funds (only 4 of 10 transfer funds or pay bills) through mobile, most enjoy a regular check up of their funds through their cellphones. Come to think of it, 400,000 people transferring funds through their cellphones is a big vote of confidence for mobile banking.
