softbank iPhone

The look of the iPhone 2.0 may be the best kept secret in tech this year. We don't know if it's going to be pretty, beautiful or just plain gorgeous. What am I saying? The iPhone 2.0 is going to be gorgeous and the Japanese won't be able to resist a 3G version. Too bad for DoCoMo, the number one in Japan, they will not be able to add to their market share and risk their rival gaining on them. I know I sound like I believe the iPhone will also appeal to the discriminating Japanese tech palate, but we've all learned to love sushi, haven't we?

Update: The iPhone 3G is now a reality and Japan is among the 22 countries to be receiving it. The 2.0 iPhone software offers touchscreen character recognition.
