Touch Diamond IndiaI don't know what's so special about India, but...HTC reason's for choosing it as the first home of the Touch Diamond probably has something to do with the 1 billion or so population and 300 million cellphone users. Maybe it's the fact that Windows Mobile is the number two smatphone OS in that country and also that iPhone has yet to be released there.

The Touch Diamond is without doubt a genuine iPhone killer, but with 3G and HSDPA disabled, Indians will have to decide whether they are going to invest $640 (also available at iPhone's exclusive carrier) on a beautiful but EDGE-only phone when iPhone is just a few weeks or months away.
